Three selected pieces of jewelry that were languishing in a $1.00/piece bin at a local thrift shop.
The jewelry “told me” how it wanted to be refashioned. And here’s a hint for all jewelry-making hobbiests: go ahead and design necklaces on a design board but if you are not stringing beads, put the components together on a mannikin. The jewelry hangs more naturally and the balancing of the pieces, which is actually 70% of the work, is a bit easier and much more accurate.
Odin, one of our cats, visited me in the basement as I was crafting. Of course he got his own picture.
A fun party piece! I won’t add this one to my Etsy site, so if it floats your boat, message me with an offer I can not refuse!
